Laminated Business Cards

Why settle for traditional printing when you can make a lasting impression with laminated business cards? Laminated cards add a real touch of class to your business, with the thin, plastic coating really enhancing your cards design and colours. It also makes your business cards more durable compared to the standard finish.

Printed on 450gsm silk, single or double sided, 85mm x 55mm
We can print your cards with three types of lamination finish;

Matt Lamination:

An extremely popular choice for our customers, matt laminate has a gentle sheen and produces a more natural look and feel, compared to gloss lamination.
It creates a classy and elegant finish to your cards, while also deepening darker hues and shades.

Gloss Lamination:

The traditional gloss will give your business cards an immediate high impact look.
Contrasting colours will be crisper and texts and images will also appear sharper.

Soft Touch Lamination:

A twist on the traditional matt lamination, soft touch lamination combines the same gentle sheen of matt laminate, while also having a velvet smooth feel. This creates a very pleasant tactile experience for your clients.

Pantone Spot Colour Business cards

Spot Colour printing, or pantone, uses inks that are premixed to match a specific colour and lithograph printed from a dedicated print plate.

Spot colours are referenced using the Pantone Matching System and are picked from a Pantone Swatch. This offers greater accurate colour reproduction for when your desired colour is not in the typical rainbow, or when you are looking for an interesting theme across multiple paint jobs.

Why use Spot Colour Printing?

The advantage of spot colour is that it gives a stronger and purer colour than regular colours alone. It is also suitable if you are looking for a neon or metallic finish on your business card. Fine lines or thin text may look rough if printed with process colour due to the half tone dots used by that process, so we recommend it for larger blocks of colour.

Spot colour printing can be applied to a wide range of premium card stocks such as the Conqueror range.

Raised print business cards (Thermographic Printing)

Thermographic raised printing, also known as thermos, is a unique technique that is traditionally used on business cards, letterheads and corporate stationery. This design is coming back into fashion as businesses want to give a classic look to their branding. The print process is a forerunner to 3D printing and gives a more tactile feel to an otherwise flat design.
Raised text and logo on a printed business card is very impressive and is typically associated with high end cards practices, such as solicitors or insurance agents; why not give your business a classier feel too?

Thermo powders are applied to ink areas. The cards are then placed in a UV oven that melts and cures the powder, to leave the ink with a firm surface that can be felt when you run your finger across it.
Thermographic printing can be applied to a wide range of premium card stocks such as Conqueror. This method can be applied to one side of your business card only.

Metallic Foil Business cards

By adding a metallic finish to your business cards, you will undoubtedly ensure that your business is seen as instantly classy and stylish. If mixed with the correct design and colour shades, metallic business cards truly stand out from the crowd.

There is a wide range of metallic finishes to choose from, such as silver, gold, rose gold and many others.
The foiling technique can be applied to a wide range of our business cards. It can also be used with other print designs, such as raised printing, to create a visually stunning piece of artwork.
